NIGHT MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Night Manager
Reporting To: Financial Controller / General Manager
Location: DRC Congo Central Africa
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee night shift operations and ensure smooth hotel/property functioning during night hours

Manage and reconcile accounts receivable activities

Conduct comprehensive night audit procedures and prepare reports

Monitor F&B (Food & Beverage) controls and inventory management

Ensure financial accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

Supervise night shift staff and maintain operational standards
-
Handle guest concerns and escalations during night shift
-
Prepare daily financial summaries and variance reports
Required Skills & Experience:

Finance Background (Essential)

Accounts Receivable: Strong knowledge of billing, collections, and ledger management

Income Audit: Experience in daily revenue audits and reconciliation

F&B Controls: Understanding of food & beverage cost management and inventory control

Night Audit: Proven experience conducting nightly financial audits and closing procedures

Proficiency with hotel management systems (PMS) and accounting software

Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Ability to work night shifts and manage multiple priorities
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Hotel Management (preferred)

2-5 years of experience in hotel/hospitality night operations with financial responsibilities

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent (preferred)
