NIGHT MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Night Manager
Reporting To:  Financial Controller / General Manager
Location: DRC Congo Central Africa

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee night shift operations and ensure smooth hotel/property functioning during night hours

  • Manage and reconcile accounts receivable activities

  • Conduct comprehensive night audit procedures and prepare reports

  • Monitor F&B (Food & Beverage) controls and inventory management

  • Ensure financial accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

  • Supervise night shift staff and maintain operational standards

  • Handle guest concerns and escalations during night shift

  • Prepare daily financial summaries and variance reports

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Finance Background (Essential)

  • Accounts Receivable: Strong knowledge of billing, collections, and ledger management

  • Income Audit: Experience in daily revenue audits and reconciliation

  • F&B Controls: Understanding of food & beverage cost management and inventory control

  • Night Audit: Proven experience conducting nightly financial audits and closing procedures

  • Proficiency with hotel management systems (PMS) and accounting software

  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to work night shifts and manage multiple priorities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Hotel Management (preferred)

  • 2-5 years of experience in hotel/hospitality night operations with financial responsibilities

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent (preferred)
